Storage Unit For 32 Drums

This is a premium quality insulated galvanized steel container suitable for the safe storage of up to 32 x 200 litre drums containing hazardous or flammable materials.

The storage containers are designed to optimally store 200 litre drums when standing upon pallets thus ensuring easy loading and unloading while taking up the minimum amount of space.

The cabinet is fitted with insulation. The insulation consists of 50 or 100 mm (depending on the model) non combustible mineral wool which is fitted between the galvanized panels.

As well as protecting against thermal shocks, in cold weather insulated containers can help maintain a minimum temperature inside the cabinet and thus reduce the viscosity of stored substances. In hot weather they can help prevent dangerous heat build up.

The drum containers are made from galvanized steel to prevent rusting and have an integrated certified watertight spill tank. They are supplied epoxy primer coated with acrylic white top coat both outside and inside.

The collection tank has swappable galvanized grids and conforms to the highest level of certification. Conforms to European Standard EN ISO 3834-3: 2006.

Key features of the sump containers include:

  • Internal load bearing frame constructed of rolled steel
  • Outer covering in galvanized and overpainted sheet metal
  • Certified large capacity collection sump with removable swappable galvanized grids - 2150 litres
  • Insulated with non combustible mineral wool which is fitted between the galvanized panels.
  • Sliding doors with lock and key
  • Height 100 mm from the ground with legs fitted with nfloor plates for anchoring to the ground
  • Two tiers of storage
  • Safety markings on the bottom of the shelf
  • Available in an overpainted white finish

Contact us regarding temperature regulation options. We can supply an armoured three phase electric heater that can be fitted to the container. We can also fit a complete air conditioning system!

Maximum capacity 32 drums directly on grid or when stood upon 1200 x 1200 mm pallets. 24 drums when stood upon 800 x 1200 mm pallets.

UNI ISO 3834-3: 2006 Each containment spill pallet is subjected to non-destructive testing to ensure the basin is watertight in case of spills. This process is applied according to the following standards.
