External Storage Unit For 2 Drums

This is a top quality overpainted galvanized steel cabinet suitable for the safe storage of 2 x 200 litre drums or small containers of hazardous or flammable materials.

The drum cabinets are made from galvanized sheet steel to prevent rusting before being overpainted. The collection sump tank is made from galvanized sheet steel and certified fully watertight.

The extra internal height of these cabinets allows the use of transfer pumps and funnels upon the drums from within the cabinet.

The collection sump tank is constructed from galvanized sheet metal with a removable galvanized grid and conforms to the highest level of certification and is supplied with a warning panel and identification plate fitted to the sump.

Key features of the sump cabinets include:

  • Cabinet in galvanized and overpainted sheet metal
  • Certified large capacity collection sump with removable grid - 220 litres
  • Door with lock and key
  • Safety locking rod to keep the door open when in use

The photo shows an optional air inlet ventilation grill. These grills can help prevent dangerous accumulations of flammable vapours within the cabinet however consideration nees to be given to where these vapours would subsequently vent to. As standard, the cabinet does not include the ventilation grill, it is an optional extra.
