Outdoor Storage Unit For 32 Drums

This large storage container with spill collection tank is designed to optimally store 200 litre drums when standing upon pallets thus ensuring easy loading and unloading while taking up the minimum amount of space.

As standard the containers allow two tiers of stacked storage of drums on pallets. Note that the container pictured is a customised model allowing 3 tiers of horizontal storage. This is not the standard model but is available as an option.

Constructed of strong galvanized corrugated steel with a collection tank these cabinets are available in two variations with either a standard galvanized finish or galvanized and overpainted in blue.

Key features of the storage cabinets include:

  • Outer covering in galvanized and corrugated sheet metal
  • High load capacity collection sump with removable swappable grids - 2150 litres
  • Two tiers of stacked storage
  • Safety markings on the shelf
  • Two series of hinged doors with lock and key
  • Ground clearance 100 mm with punched base plates for anchoring to the ground
  • Horizontal storage is a custom option

We can supply optional air inlet ventilation grills for storing flammable substances. These help prevent dangerous accumulations of flammable vapours within the cabinet.

We can also supply an optional insulating roof in 50 mm thick mineral wool between galvanized metal sheets.

Maximum capacity 32 drums directly on grid or when stood upon 1200 x 1200 mm pallets. 24 drums when stood upon 800 x 1200 mm pallets.

Each containment spill pallet is subjected to non-destructive testing to ensure the basin is watertight in case of spills in accordance with UNI ISO 3834-3: 2006. This process is applied according to the following standards.
